Jain Sadhvi Yakini Mahattara







Two disciples of Acharya Haribhadrasuriji, namely Hans and Paramhans were killed at the hands of followers of other religion. Acharyashri suffered great mental commotion. The shock of the killing of his loving disciples caused a sense of revenge in him. Acharyashri decided to kill 1444 students and lecturers of Bauddha Vihar by roasting them alive in boiling oil. Anger and revenge leave no place for discretion.

Jain Acharya Haribhadrasuri






Acharya Haribhadrasuri, a great author with powerful personality, had written many books in Sanskrit and Prakrit. His versatile scholarship, unmatched knowledge, acute critical faculty and mastery of language have earned for him a distinguished place in the history of Indian literature. The 1444 books deemed to have been written by him are regarded as the most valuable treasure of knowledge of the Jain religion. He was the first commentator of the Agamas (Jain canonical literature) and through his books he blazed a new trail in meditation.

Acharya Vijay Nemisurijee Mahraja Sahaiba




 Acharya Nemisurijee M.S. was born in Mahuwa (Saurastra) on first day of first month (Kartik) of V.S. 1929. Incidentally, when he was died, in the same place- Mahuwa on the same day, first day of first month (Kartik) of V.S. 2006. (after 77 years) Again both days- his birth day and the day of his sad demise were same – Saturday! Ara the time The Ghadi and Pal were also the same! In his life span of 77 years he has dome such note-worthy deeds, that his time is rightly known as Shasan Samrat Nemi Era.

Jain Acharya Shri Bhuvanbhanu Soorishwarji




Shri Kantibhai was born on the 6th day of the bleak fortnight of Chaitra in Vikram Era 1968, in a highly cultured and distinguished family in Ahmedabad. He was the second son of Shri Chimanbhai and Shrimati Bhuribehan. He received academic education and passed, with distinction, a Banking Examination of England of those those days and thus showed his in-born intellectual brilliance.

Acharya Shri Mahapragya (14 June 1920 – 9 May 2010) was the tenth Acharya, supreme head of Jain Swetembar Terapanth group. Mahapragya was a highly venerable saint, yogi, spiritual leader, philosopher, author, orator, poet.
