Banke Bihari
Banke Bihari Mandir is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Krishna, in the divine city of Vrindavan in the Mathura district. Bankey Bihari was initially worshiped at Nidhivana. Bankey signifies “bent in three spots” and bihari signifies “supreme enjoyer.” The picture of Lord Krishna stands in the Tribhanga posture. Haridas Swami initially worshipped this devotional picture under the name of Kunj-bihari.
